Help with Router problem / modem

Q: Well i used to have a server before no problem people could get on and i could egt on but then my parents got a new modem(linksys) then my server stopped working then to make it worse for server (bettr for me) they got a new computer my old one is still here but i like using the new 1 (vista). I used to run my old server on my Qwest m1000 (actiontec m1000) but now i have a linksys WRT54G and the ipconfig default gateway gets me to linksys website. I also have a vonage modem (motorola vt2142) and when i do ipconfig/all the dns server gets me to the motorola site. ipconfig's ip adress that it gives me takes me to linksys and its 192-...-... but when i do ipchicken.com i get a diff ip adress 97-116-...-... and when i put in adress bar i dont get a site. any 1 know wat router / modem i should use and wats default ip adress to egt to qwest?

A: This is hardly a server problem, more of a computer programming problem ..
